Conner rushes into Record Book

On November 11, Hebron (Kentucky) Conner High School rushed its way into the National Federation of State High School Associations' National High School Sports Record Book when it accumulated 745 rushing yards in its 84-48 Kentucky High School Athletic Association Class 5A playoff win over Frankfort (Kentucky) Franklin County High School.

In the process, Conner both set the Kentucky state rushing record and ranks tied for fifth nationally with Tabor City (North Carolina) South Columbus High School, which accomplished the feat in 1998.

Four Conner players rushed for more than 100 yards, led by 5-foot-9, 180-pound sophomore running back Jesse MeKeehan, who had 251 yards and three touchdowns. Drew Barker, Cameron Fogle and Dylan Levsey rushed for 251, 162 and 108 yards, respectively.
