Explore the NFHS Music Association Journal
The NFHS is pleased to publish NFHS Music Association Journal , the official journal of the NFHS Music Association, as a benefit to members. Our purpose in publishing this journal is to share insights, information and advice regarding the music adjudication process and the place of music education as a part of interscholastic activities at the high school level. Our audience is high school directors of music, private music teachers, college and university music department members and music contest/festival managers.
We welcome articles for future issues of NFHS Music Association Journal. Articles may be on the preparation for festivals or contests, contest management, techniques for effective adjudication, the inclusion or exclusion of particular events such as sight-reading, the use of prescribed music lists, unique contest events, all-state festivals or any other contest/ festival-related activity.
Manuscripts may be submitted via e-mail ( mailto:email@example.com) or on disk (Microsoft Word 7.0 for Windows 95) to the editor at NFHS. Works cited and tables should appear on separate pages following the final page of the manuscript. Printed copy, if submitted, should be double –spaced on 8 ½" by 11" paper.
Manuscripts of varied length are acceptable. Prospective authors should note the typical length of articles appearing in NFHS Music Association Journal . The editor reserves the right to make minor modifications and style changes prior to publication.
